Description: Peri peri is also known as the Bird's eye Chile Pepper which is a small spicy pepper that grows no longer than 1 inch. When immature these peppers are green and when mature they turn a bright red or purple. The famous Peri-peri sauce is made from these chili peppers, which is used as a seasoning or marinade for cooking prawns, chicken or anything else in this sauce.
